Research fulfils a fundamental role in the functioning of the conservation club.
Research enables us to identify areas of weakness i.e. pollution etc along the
Umhlatuzana river catchment, as well as allowing us to get a clear view of the
running of other aspects of the project.
In order to define areas of weakness along the catchment six set sampling sites
have been established along its course. Water samples are collected from the sites monthly. We then conduct a series of test and experiments with the samples.
